Independence Day, also known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States to celebrate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July, 4 1776. The United States declared itself a sovereign union of 13 colonies and remove itself from the control of Great Britain. Our founding fathers made it possible for us to enjoy this day as a holiday, so make sure you celebrate the history, government, and tradition of the United States of America.
